For Toronto Tech Week, we pulled up with something hard to miss: a big purple Ribbon truck built to get people talking about AI interviews.
Inside, candidates, recruiters, and curious passersby got to step into the Ribbon interview booth and try an AI interview for themselves. They met Bonnie, answered real interview questions, and saw that AI interviews can feel way more natural, conversational, and human than expected.
The goal was simple: take something that can feel intimidating and make it feel approachable, memorable, and even a little fun.
Instead of just telling people what Ribbon does, we let them experience it. The truck became a rolling demo, a conversation starter, and a live example of how Ribbon helps candidates show more than what fits on a resume.
For hiring teams, it was a chance to see how AI interviews can create a better experience on both sides: candidates get more opportunity to be seen, and recruiters get a faster, fairer, and more consistent way to meet talent at scale.
