Why we built Ribbon

To the people building teams,

Hiring has operated under the same assumption for a long time: you can move fast, or you can be thorough. You can't do both.

We don't think that's true anymore.

Most candidates aren't looking for a hiring process. They're looking for a job. Usually, they need one soon. They shouldn't have to wait weeks for an email, find time on a recruiter's calendar, or disappear into a pile of resumes before anyone has heard them speak.

A resume can only tell part of someone’s story. Every candidate deserves the chance to show how they think, how they communicate, and what they could bring to the role.

That's a big part of why we built Ribbon.

With Ribbon, every candidate gets an interview. They can do it when they're ready, even if that's at night, on a weekend, or five minutes after they apply. Our AI listens, asks relevant follow-up questions, and gives each person the chance to tell their story in their own words.

Companies get something better than another stack of resumes. Ribbon turns those conversations into useful, structured information and ranks candidates according to what the company is actually looking for. Recruiters can see who deserves their attention and move while those people are still available. The final decision remains theirs.

We've developed the most advanced voice AI technology in recruiting to make that possible. The voice is only one part of it. We've also built the scoring, outreach, fraud detection, and integrations required to handle real hiring at real scale.

Still, the technology isn't the mission.

The mission is to help companies hire better and hire faster, while giving more people a genuine chance to be considered. Those things have been treated as a contradiction for too long.

Ribbon is our proof that they don't have to be.
